Joy instead of fighting

ZEG Rally Show will once again turn the city centre of Zalaegerszeg and ZalaZONE into a sporting spectacle. On the 6th and 7th of August 2022, the best of Hungarian rallying will dazzle fans of motor racing with pure joydrives. This year’s event will be held in parallel with EnduroGP of Hungary while road safety programmes and trainings will be an important part of the event.

Spectacular racing

The total distance of the 2nd ZEG Rally Show is 60 km, with three new stages added to the schedule, giving the field a total of six different stages to complete two runs. The organisers are also modifying last year’s layouts with new roads being built in the ZalaZONE area and based on feedback from competitors. The very narrow sections of the downtown stage and Smart City will be removed.

An experience for the whole family

In addition to racing, visitors can follow the action up close in the ZalaZONE service park, where there will also be a gastro zone. A fan zone will be set up in the centre of Zalaegerszeg, where the HUMDA Road Safety track will be located. Here children can learn the rules of the road traffic with go-karts, electric mini-cars, bicycles and scooters.

All-day fun

The racing programme starts on Saturday with track inspections and administrative checks for the crews with optional testing at ZalaZONE on Friday. On Sunday, racing gets underway at 8:00 and the final results will be published at 19:00. In the meantime, the Sunday race day of the EnduroGP World Championship will also take place, as well as additional and entertainment activities for the public in and around Zalaegerszeg.
